2023 WEEK 36 [1 CORINTHIANS 14-16]

"God Is Not the Author of Confusion, but of Peace"

August 28 – September

This week we'll wrap up 1st Corinthians and study Paul's guidance about testifying with a focus on edification. We'll also hear his pure and simple testimony of the resurrection of Jesus Christ that echoes in the words of our current apostles. He will teach us about unity, charity, and the Savior's ultimate victory over the grave. It's a powerful week of study.

On the creative side, we'll explain the gift of tongues with the help of a cryptography calendar. It's temple week on the chart so our second object lesson will focus in on the ordinance of baptism for the dead. We'll create simple tools to help us store names and prepare for our time in the temple. Finally, we'll chat about Paul's teachings on the varying types of resurrected bodes by using a classic science experiment.
