Lesson Summary:

This week we see the pinnacle moment of the Book of Mormon when the Savior finally comes among the Nephines. Before he arrives as a glorified, resurrected being, great storms will rage. Thousands will be lost in the calamity due to their wickedness and abuse of the servants of the Lord. Those who survive the storms will gather at the temple to see His face, touch His wounds, and testify of His resurrection.

3 Nephi 10:9-10 | What is it about the subsequent verses that teach you how their mourning was turned into joy? What do they know now that they didn’t know in the darkness?

3 Nephi 10:12-15 | Why was Samuel protected from stones and arrows while the other prophets were not? What was unique about his mission? How do you teach those different results to your children?

3 Nephi 11:39-40 | How do you see this happening in our day? Why is it tempting to declare more or less? How does it remove/negate the steadying anchor pins that Elder Bednar spoke about in conference?
