Perhaps you've heard it said many times that we find true and lasting hope through God's word, the Bible.  You may even have heard it often enough the it is easy to tune it out.   I like to think you want to know God's word but not sure where to begin reading or understanding it.

In this episode I have a discussion withe Dale Jenkins about how we find hope through God's word.  We discuss some views on hope and how it is a thread that runs throughout God's word.  Dale also speaks to where to start and some tips for helping to understand God's revealed word.

Dale is a gospel minister but he also spends time teaching others how to use the Bible.  He and his brother Jeff have a web site called, "The Jenkins Institute" where he shares resources to help us grow in our knowledge and ability to apply God's word in our life.  He is also passionate about helping us help others to discover, sustain, or regain hope by understanding God's word.

You can learn more about this at https://www.thejenkinsinstitute.com/ .

I encourage you to purchase a copy of the book, “Journey to Hope”. In it I explore hope from a variety of perspectives. I also look at examples from scripture of men and women that journeyed from hopeless to hopeful through their interaction with our Lord.
