Hollis welcomes guest Laura Anderson to the show to discuss how we can overcome what is on our way to becoming the 2.0 version of ourselves.
By the time we turn 18, the average person from the average family has heard some form of "no" 148,000 times! It's no wonder that when we start adulting, we are so often mired in a disconnect from what we secretly desire but don't allow ourselves to go after or call in. Or, we may not even know what we want because we've already told ourselves it's a no and so it's too painful to open our hearts to what we desire in the first place.
Laura is a certified Confidence Coach and inside her practice Live and Thrive 365, she helps individuals identify what limiting beliefs are holding them back. And not just the obvious ones, like when we criticize ourselves through negative self-talk, but also our systemic limiting beliefs that we've mis-taken as the truth about ourselves or about life, such as I could never afford that lifestyle, or I could never take that kind of risk, that are now in our way to becoming the next-level version of ourselves.
Confidence, according to Laura, is a daily practice. It is rarely if ever just a given for most of us, but rather is built day by day, action by action, new empowering belief by new empowering belief. Which means that all of us—even if we don't feel it now—can grow into confident people who know they are capable and worthy.
Today is the day to start building your confidence, one baby step at a time, baby! The 2.0 version of yourself is waiting!
