Today’s show features Mark Newhouse author of The Devil’s Bookkeepers, which won the Grand Prize Fiction Series and First Prize Hemingway Wartime Series awards in the Chanticleer International Book Awards, the Gold Medal Historical Fiction, and Book of the Year in the Florida Writers Association’s Royal Palm Literary Awards, and Book 3 won 1st Prize Historical Fiction, Eric Hoffer awards. Mark taught on Long Island, which inspired his award-winning children’s mysteries, Welcome to Monstrovia, and its sequels.
Mark is the founding President of Writers League of The Villages, ‘Top Cat’ of Writers 4 Kids, he writes the Village Neighbors magazine Writing Bug column and is the Youth Chairperson and a Florida Writers Association Director.
He will tell us about what inspired him to write The Devil’s Bookkeepers? The Devil’s Bookkeepers is unique among Holocaust books. He will address how the book is impacting readers and how this book about the Holocaust is relevant today.
He will talk about turning his book into a movie or series for TV.
