In a federation paralyzed by a politically charged debate over the future of energy, three teenagers are left to fend for themselves at an underfunded daycare in a federation station. After a disaster at the station, they must escape the damaged vessel. Will they survive? Are they all that concerned about hurtling through space? Most importantly can one of them reach deep inside themselves to find what they have never reached before?
