S1E7 Tyrone Irish Gold 5k 1st overall 17:21:13 3/19/22

Gold rush 5k/10k Tyrone. Did the 5k, finished 1st on paper with a time of 17:21.23.  But was 2nd in my eyes.   Lead 2 miles before stepping off road to get  dude who was drafting me to take over so he'd use more energy instead of  getting free ride off me. He then by end race  had 2-5 second lead but  went wrong way last 50ish yards so I crossed ahead of him. But feel he  had me cause I had no kick. Did yell at him but was to late for him to  correct.  Did feel good during race. And with the course being hilly i was happy  to be in the 17s.
