Jesus and the Door That Matters Most

Have you ever felt like you’re on the outside looking in—longing for peace, purpose, or belonging, but unsure how to access it?

This Sunday, Pastor Filmore unpacked Jesus’ powerful statement in John 10: “I am the door.” In a world full of closed doors and false promises, Jesus offers Himself as the only true way into life, freedom, and relationship with God.

We were reminded that the ache we carry—the spiritual homesickness we feel—isn’t a flaw, but a sign. It points us back to Eden, where access to God was once open. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus became the Door that reopens what sin once closed.

He doesn't just show us the way — He is the way. Through Him, we find safety, salvation, and deep soul satisfaction. But we can’t walk through the Door if we still believe we can climb the wall ourselves.
