Easter Sunday: Can We Trust the Resurrection?

The grave has been defeated. Sin has been paid in full. What will you do with this renewed gift?

This Easter Sunday, Pastor Filmore invited us to remember and behold the resurrection.

Jesus didn’t rise from the dead to make bad people good, but to bring dead people to life. And that same Spirit that raised Him now lives in us ready to give us power to overcome fear, addiction, shame, and doubt.

The resurrection gives us a new hope that everything broken will one day be restored, and every wrong made right.

This Easter we are reminded that we can’t live in the in-between. We must decide that Jesus is either Lord of all or not Lord at all.

The question isn’t just “Did He rise?” It’s “What will you do because He did?”
