044: Examine the Scriptures | Acts 17:11

Take responsibility for your own spiritual life.

Do you take your Bible to church? Do you follow along with your pastor on the Bible App? Or do you just take for granted that whatever they project on the screen is actually in the Bible? No, I am not saying your pastor is lying to you. I am saying that we should be taking responsibility for our own spiritual life. In our One Verse, the Berean Jews were comparing everything that Paul taught against what Scripture taught. I think it would be wise for us to do the same. You aren’t showing disrespect to your pastor. Instead, you are learning how to feed yourself.
