Motherhood, Confessions of Regret with documentary filmmaker, Towe Carlsson

My guest today is documentary filmmaker, Towe Carlsson who, having found herself questioning her desire to have children and fearing regretting motherhood, went on to make a documentary called Motherhood, Confessions of Regret.

Towe worked with three women and one of their children, as well as author of Regretting Motherhood, Orna Donath.
The trailer, which can be seen on my social media today is moving and demonstrates the necessity for this conversation to be opened up within society.

Towe and I discuss the makings of the film, which is currently in the editing process and the various reasons surrounding the mothers regrets and how their decisions to have children have impacted their lives.
