What if those uncomfortable feelings were actually your best friends. How would that change how you felt about them. Your emotions are there to let you know that something is off or needs to be addressed. They area a magnification to our inner world. The objective is to start becoming friends with these feelings vs pushing them down. Doing so will open a world of possibility and growth.

Questions to ponder:

  • In your day, notice an uncomfortable emotion.
  • Notice the trigger and how you were feeling.
  • What was the triggering thought?
  • What is the distortion in your thinking?
  • After noticing the distortion, how do you feel about the above event?
