E120: The Prayer of Jabez

If you ever feel like you want more, pray the prayer of Jabez.  This short and overlooked prayer comes from brokenness and a desire to be more and do more for the Kingdom.  Dave's personal testimony, after two job losses, demonstrates how God is for us, not against us.

(1 Chronicles 4:10)

“Oh, that you would bless me indeed, (supernatural favor)

And enlarge my territory, (influence)

that your hand would be with me, (the bigger your request the more you’ll need God), and that you would keep me from evil, (kept from, out of every battle...not help in battle),

That I may not cause pain.”

And God granted him what he requested. (1 Chronicles 4:10)
