E 224: A deeper examination of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. What Should They Be Able to Agree On?

I hope you have been enjoying this series.  Today we’ll start tallying up our Tenets and address the questions we've been posing along the way.

There is something Gods people, the collective children of the world, haven’t learned yet, and until we do, there will be conflict and struggle for all of us, that should NOT EXIST!!  

I would like to believe that IT IS POSSIBLE  that WE ALL could agree, that the essence, the mission and purpose, for ALL walks of Faith, is the nurturing and promotion of LOVE as defined in 1 Corinthians 13, regardless of who said it.

Look at 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

“If I speak with the tongues of men..., but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong...; and if I have all faith..., but do not have love, I am nothing.  

Said differently, “if I have all the Faith (all the Faith my Faith teaches), but do not show love, I am nothing!  If you have adopted a Faith of your culture, upbringing or individual conviction, but do not share love to others outside of your Faith, your Faith, your religion, your prophet and your conviction is WORTHLESS! 

In Summary, what can we agree on.

1. That we all were created by an Almighty, omnipresent, omniscient, universal and transcendent CREATOR 
2. That He and HE ALONE brings life, gives instruction as to how to live a moral and upright life and hope in a life after 
3. That without a DIVINE PROVIDENCE working through each of us, a meaningful and purposeful life is impossible 
4. That IF someone believes differently than us, its NOT our job to convert them or judge them but to at least,  love them 
5. That without LOVE we ARE NOTHING.  Period.  Our life is nothing, our land and where we live…means nothing, our believed inheritance means nothing…and our DEVOTION TO OUR FAITH means NOTHING (according to 1 Corinthians 13.)

What then, becomes subservient to the “AGREED ON” TENETS?  

1. That eating habits or legalistic dietary laws, could be practiced or not practiced by anyone that opts in, without judgement of others
2. That continual fighting over former inheritance claims to lands is NOT A WAY TO HEAVEN or PARADISE for believers today
3. That any and all currently shared HOLY GROUNDS should and must remain revered and protected HOLY GROUND … SHARED by ALL
4. That Scriptures or teachings that are unique to your Faith, must not claim dominance or superiority over other Faiths

NONE OF US ARE BETTER THAN THE OTHER!  We all fall short of the glory of God.  If you believe otherwise, you should be held back.

Judaism does not target or seek out the uncircumcised for persecution, execution or extinction.  Specifically, Israel is not trying to conquer new lands or overthrow another Faith.  

“You have been severed from Christ, (God), you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (Here we have a WARNING for all Faiths).  For we through the Spirit (spirit of Yahweh, Allah, or Christ), by faith, are waiting for the hope of righteousness.”  Galatians 5:4-5 

“For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.””  (All faiths should be able to accept this statement).  Galatians 5:13-14 

If we can’t figure out how to LOVE our brother…it doesn’t matter which Faith you associate with.  Your Faith is MEANINGLESS.
