Photographer, painter, creative. Marilia Capeli is many things — beautiful and brave are at the top of the list. At a young age, Marilia flew to Jacksonville, Florida, away from her family and home in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She came to the US for school and began a creative journey. She took risks and steered herself in the direction of what her deep intuition and listening kept telling her — she was a Creative and there was no stopping her.

Currently, as the staff photographer of Natural Life, a national lifestyle brand synonymous with passionate dreamers and bohemian inspired decor, Marilia is the epitome of the American dream — hard work, committed to the process — and it almost looks like it all landed in her lap. But challenges are nothing new to her; and none of this happened easily. Hers is a story of commitment, passion, and vision. She works with private clients, as well, with a keen eye for creating thoughtful, inspired therapeutic images — her clients love the love and beauty she captures.

Through trusting the process, honoring her father, and committed to work to make her dreams come true, Marilia graduated from college, got her Masters Degree and successfully obtained her green card. She directs her steps from strengthening her listening to herself and shares how much family — especially her father  — has been part of her growth in remembering what she loves.  Her lens is pointed in the right direction.
