Against All Odds

In today's episode, I'm speaking with the lovely Christiana Valentine. 

As you'll hear from my intro, this story was a difficult one to listen to and then when I edited it, I found myself wondering what it must have been like in Christina's position at those times in her life, and quite frankly, it's impossible to comprehend.  

I have to pre-warn you that we talk of child abuse, both physical and sexual, paedophilia, heartbreak, mental health, and suicide.    But we also speak of success and survival at its best; this is difficult to listen to, but the outcome is the most encouraging one. 

As you'll hear, Christina is a multi-award winner, inspirational speaker, author and much more, and her daughter Daisy is a very talented artist. 

Remember that no matter how many curveballs you get thrown in life, you have to get up, dust yourself off and carry on the journey to becoming something pretty awesome,  and let me tell you,  Christina and Daisy are on the path to greatness.
