Triggered By The Truth_Loyalty To Systems

When does a system become obsolete? The short answer is when it no longer works. But often it is not that simple. Maybe it works, but not nearly as well or efficiently as the new system. As Christians, we have to be willing to grow, develop and innovate in order to operate effectively in this world. This doesn't mean abandoning Christ and His systems. On the contrary, it means staying with Christ and being willing to adapt and adjust when He updates or lays out new ways of operating. Don't get me wrong, He is not changing the Bible. However, things around us are changing and we have to be careful to stay with Him to learn to interact biblically. Systems don't deserve our loyalty, God does, and when he changes the system or gives a system update, we need to be growing, developing and innovating enough to follow Him.
