The first ever professional women's Hockey league began back in January of this year and feature an original number of six teams consisting of Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and New York, while only four teams were able to play in the first ever Playoffs of this league's inaugural season and now with a trophy to play for called the Walter Cup which would be awarded to whoever was the last team standing and luckily for all of us with one only two teams left standing right now that prize can be awarded as we stand at the end of this best of Five series Championship round with the series even at 2 games a piece as Minnesota and Boston are both one game away from either winning the series or ending their season with a championship run cut short of the Walter Cup.
