Penguins Post Game "NHL 2023/2024 Regular season finale" Islanders at Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins picked up a huge victory against the Nashville Predators on the final Monday night of the season and ended their home stand on a high note with a (PIT 4-2 NSH) victory over the Predators but on Tuesday they needed some help to ensure they made it into the playoffs.

However it did not go well as both the Detroit Red Wings and the Washington Capitals won their games on Tuesday night.

Now Pittsburgh will play the New York Islanders determined to go out into the off-season on a high note no matter what the outcome.

The New York Islanders will look to even the season series with the Penguins and also head into the playoffs on a high note and they will do so coming off a huge victory of their own as they defeated the New Jersey Devils on the final Monday night of the season in Newark New Jersey by a final score (NYI 4-1 NJD)
