Zac Crook & Tommy Trautwein

Zac Crook joins me with producer extraordinaire Tommy Trautwein to discuss his upcoming sophomore album, ‘MVP 2003’. Over the course of two and a half years, and with the help of multi-instrumentalist Hampton Peay (Walter Slide), this trio was able to concoct some of the most interesting and pop tunes I’ve heard in a long time.

We got to discuss their creative process, being intentional, recording techniques, perfect albums, musical influences, studio gear, working with friends, and much more!

Zac’s new album arrives this Friday (9/1) accompanied by an album release show that same night at Athens Historic Firehouse!
