McKendrick Bearden

McKendrick Bearden is a genre bending singer songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Athens, GA.

His recently released debut album, 'Bright as the Mines Out' is a thriving ecosystem of indie rock, psych rock, alt country, and ambient music. This project is a truly captivating listen from beginning to end! Needless to say, it is one of my favorite albums to come out of the Athens music scene in recent memory.

We got to discuss his songwriting process, musical influences, touring, sampling your own songs, the DIY mentality, and working with previous OTN guest Heffner!
