The Rudder

We’ve heard about it. We have probably used the phrase “to be rudderless.” We probably felt aimless at times. We might even know that boats and planes have rudders and that they function the same way, as control services. What we may not know is without the development of the trusted rudder the direction and development of humankind might have been vastly different.
