Hearing God: Is this really God or just me?

The Bible tells us that we can hear the voice of God. There are two major extremes that come along with this truth. Many Christians wrongly believe that every thought they have and every weird thing that happens to them is God speaking to them, while others wrongly think that He never speaks to people today.
