60: What it takes to make it in the music industry with Jess Penner

Today I get to interview one of my good friends and mentors — Jess Penner. She is an all encompassing musician who specializes in licensing her music and has found success through all her hard work. She’s had placements for H&M, Days Inn, Sharpie, Payless Shoes, Disneyland, BMW, JC Penny, T-Mobile — the list goes on of companies she’s gotten to work with. Jess is seriously one of the most talented people I know with an incredible story (which you’ll hear all about on todays episode) of how she got to where she is.    She is full of wisdom and insight and gives really practical advice on what it actually takes to make it in the creative industry.
