59: Kindness vs niceness (one of these suck)

The word nice and kind get interchanged all the time and it feels like people legit do not see a difference or cant articulate a difference which is absolutely terrifying to me since one is basically an insult.    I am super passionate about the difference bc people can just assume that upfront, assertive people are “not nice” and write them off. Well it’s true, a lot of times they aren’t nice, but niceness, once you really uncover what it is, has virtually zero value to it. I have absolutely no desire to be nice and every desire to truly be kind and think of others.   On today’s episode addi and I divulge all of this. We define what nice really means and what kind really means and see how they surface in all different kinds of situations. We’ll see how niceness is self-focused while kindness is others-focused. This is one of my favorite things to talk about as you’ll see, so make sure you keep listening.
