This is the second episode of Ocean School, the temporary open art school created by the art collective Ocean School Collective (OSC) as part of their 2025 Goetemann Environmental/Installation Artist Residency at the Ocean Alliance on Rocky Neck in Gloucester, Massachusetts, from September 4th to September 28, 2025, sponsored by the Rocky Neck Art Colony. In this episode, artist-philosopher Kate Farrington, Ph.D. (whose title at OSC is “Chief Curriculum Officer”), introduces “ocean thinking” in a free-flowing conversation with Liz DiFiore, the Community Engagement Manager at BevCam in Beverly, Massachusetts.
