Zeppoles are something that I used to really enjoy as a treat at pizza places in NY, it isn't something I have ever seen in Canada and even in NY they are becoming less common. I love them, it is a very light airy fried dough, that is not as dense as donut, but it is made like dumplings to preserve the bubbles the yeast makes. So delish.
