Coming Out+The Pursuit of Authentic Self with Lex Linford

I couldn't let #pridemonth pass without holding space for those who need somewhere safe to share their coming out stories without judgment or shame. Today, I sit with Lex as they detail their vulnerable experiences with family rejection, deconstructing binary beliefs, and navigating the heartache and nuance of defining their sexuality/identity.

Lex identifies as non-binary and their pronouns are they/them and occasionally she/her. They are a grad student at the University of Utah beginning their degree in clinical mental health counseling. They plan to be a therapist with a focus on gender and sexuality and to provide support and acceptance to those who are underserved and underrepresented.
