Runar Runarsson - When the Light Breaks

This episode features Icelandic writer/director Runar Runarsson, talking about his fourth
feature film, When The Light Breaks, premiering at Cannes 2024 Un Certain Regard. 

Runar talks about offering the audience a sense of reality by setting the film over 24
hours; why there can be beauty in tragedy; and how he likes to prepare extensively
before shooting with his cinematographer Sophia Olsson.
