It’s Concorde, Not The Concord

There are few days we love more at Nonsense than Pi Day; happy 3.14, everyone!

Today we take a walk down memory lane of what you, as a business traveler with a significant travel budget, may have done between the late-70’s and the early 2000’s - fly supersonic (because your time is so freaking valuable, 80’s-yuppie-you).

That’s right, listener, today we are talking about one of, if not the, sexiest commercial jet of all time - Concorde.

For the uninitiated, while Def Leppard and Journey were blaring on the radio, you could call your travel agent, and for the exchange of (a whole bunch of) monies, you could fly SUPERSONIC AT MACH 2 between a handful of destinations.

London to NYC in 3h, sure?  But did you know that for a hot minute, you could go from London to Singapore in under 10h?  Yeah, we didn’t either.

But before that, we are looking to ban TikTok?  What?  Why?!  Where will I get my new dances and shopping stores from?!  Tomorrow's e-commerce is here today!
