This is it folks, the last episode of 2023; and we have bad news for you listener, you may likely have never had the pleasure of tasting real extra virgin olive oil. Surely you’re asking yourself “how can this be possible?”

It’s so popular and good for us that everyone from father-and-son grifters to the mafia is dressing up anything from seed oil to lamp oil (!!) and selling it as extra virgin olive oil. Some people will give you a list of what to look for, which unfortunately doesn’t really ensure you’re getting the good stuff. As it turns out, the only way you can truly ensure you are getting real, legit olive oil is to look for a certain stamp of approval, one that might surprise you.
