Mariel Grullon is ever-present, but elusive.

What an absolute pleasure to spend an hour on #NoSuggestionPod with the treasure of Brooklyn, actor, puppeteer, chef, teleprompter operator, rapper, producer, husband, stand-up and improv comedian Mariel Grullon (@jezusthebodegacat). Co-host Christopher Morucci (@christophermorucci) and I count ourselves privileged to chat with our beloved friend Mariel this week about being from Brooklyn, being prompted to start improv by Ray Cordova of Astronomy Club as both were inspired by Donald Glover, how Mariel and his wife Jodi met, the original Super Mario Brothers movie, not feeling confident as a youth, and running the teleprompter at CBS news for 19 hrs straight the day of the election.

We also get a myriad of wild and absurd improv comedy scenes in, including a rare and intimate backstage audience with jazz legend Louis Armstrong.
