An honor to have our guest, actor, comedian, teacher, and managing director of Brooklyn Comedy Collective (@comedybrooklyn), Julian Hernandez (@joobliander) on the No Suggestion this week! Guest co-host Jake Joseph (@f00lish_b0y) were mesmerized this week in Radio Free Brooklyn (@radiofreebk) studios this week getting to know Julian, and chatting everything from about his background in comedy and his experience at the UCB, boundaries in the workplace, the definition of clown, his one person show Jooby, stand-up comedy being theater, and more. This is my favorite kind of chat because it's delicate and profound, despite how silly and off-the-wall it is at times.
We also get really giggly and silly in our improv scenes this week, particularly in a scene where two improv students pitch an improv show that's just a room filled with snakes to an exasperated theater manager. This is a dope, thoughtful, surreal episode, and it was a surreal honor and experience to have the great Julian Hernandez on #NoSuggestionPod. If you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed making it, please rate, subscribe, and share with friend.
