So some semi-big news for the podcast…CityView magazine in Knoxville just released their Best of the Best issue and No Playbook was listed as one of the best three podcasts. Thank you to anybody that might have voted for that. 

This coming up weekend, D1 will be running a baseball skills clinic at Dick’s House of Sport with three Tennessee baseball players – Blake Burke, Hunter Ensley, and Billy Amick. We’ve been planning this event for a while with Dick’s, so I’m excited to finally get to it. 

Blake Burke was cool enough to join me on the podcast today. We talk about his recruitment to Tennessee from California, he tells me about his experience from the dugout in some of last year’s exciting playoff games…and we take some time to give out some superlatives to his current teammates.
