David Packouz was a significant weapons contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense during the War in Afghanistan and a partner of AEY Inc. David and his friend Efraim Diveroli won a $300 million U.S. government contract to provide the Afghan Army with ammunition and weaponry in early 2007, when he was only 24 years old. Todd Phillips adapted David's tale of arm-dealing into the 2016 movie War Dogs. David now works as an inventor, businessman, and musician.
