In this episode, I am sharing how the concept of thinking time has been one of the most impactful habits that I have implemented in both my life and business.
Thinking time is the concept of creating time and space for you to isolate yourself and spend time asking a number of powerful questions to help you solve problems at a much deeper level.
Establishing thinking time in your routine allows you to check the validity of all the assumptions you make on a regular basis. This dedicated time allows you to slow down and focus, and get to the root cause of problems.
Here are some questions I challenge you to think around:
1) What do I need to practice to improve my game and deserve the success that I desire?
2) What shortcuts am I attempting to take right now by being lazy or impatient, or from procrastination?
3) What would my life look like if every customer I've ever had was a repeat customer? What do I need to do to keep all of these customers?
4) If I were fired and a new leader came into my business today, what decision or change would he or she immediately make?
Today's challenge: Set aside some thinking time this week to contemplate these questions, or come up with a list of your own questions. Additionally, think about what questions you could ask yourself that help you in your personal world.
