The other day, I watched a thrilling Indian Hindi-language film called ‘Kill.’  The film, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, was released in 2023. Watching such a gripping film for the first time in a while reminded me why contemporary Indian cinema holds a special place in my heart. I will list my three favourite characteristics of contemporary Indian cinema using ‘Kill’ as an example. There won’t be any spoilers.
