The trio dives deep into Tyler’s life growing up in the rural south, dealing with depression and social anxiety, and making the big move to New York City, where he waited tables, while also waiting for his big break. Despite his relocation, he remained depressed and obese, lived far beyond his means and pretended everything was just peachy, even though his life and wallet were far from it. Laura and Todd learn how Tyler got into real estate, made a name for himself through his company Triplemint, a company that eventually acquired The Agency. They also discuss how he was recruited to be on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing, the pros and cons of reality TV, his decision to get weight loss surgery, despite trying to lose the weight on his own. The weight loss sleeve surgery he received, however, wasn’t the overnight life change he thought it would be. He continued to struggle with his confidence and body dysmorphia, but Tyler did finally learn what it actually felt like to be full and how to change his lifestyle for the better. In the wake of his surgery, he started seeing a life coach who opened his eyes to a drinking problem, that he eventually kicked to the curb. After doing some serious work on himself in therapy, Tyler finally feels comfortable in his own skin and stars alongside Real Estate Mogul Glenda Baker in their podcast Glitter and Gay!
