This sadly not uncommon event unfolds into a convoluted case involving blackmail, embezzlement, riches, mysterious antagonists, a famous writer and ties to royalty.  Or does it? 
The Limeslade Mystery gripped the papers and brought in Scotland Yard to track down the truth and the killer.
A whopping tall tale worthy of a spy novel from Limeslade South Wales 1927 is today’s episode of Frightful Fridays.
