In today’s episode we look at three cases of killing father.
Our first case, from 1752 remains a famous one in the UK.  Mary Blandy, potential spinster, has a promise of love from a rogue already married, gambling indebted, Captain.  The only thing standing in the way of love and inheritance is her father.
The second case from 1871 involving a deadly scythe remains a question of accidental or purposeful killing.
The last case from 1890 generated much sympathy at the time.  The victim, a brutal cruel man, is the intended target.  But which brother was truly responsible?  Both brothers blame the other…
