When you carry the WEIGHTS of yesterday, They ruin the POWER of today and disrupt the PROGRESS of tomorrow.

The more baggage you bring, the harder it is to travel.

The less baggage you bring, the easier it is to travel.

Hebrews 12:1 Since we are surrounded by so many examples [of faith], let us throw off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Run in such a way that you may win.

“throw off” to lay something down while at the same time pushing it far away beyond our reach. we’re to remove it and push it away

Things that happen throughout life often become baggage that weighs us down in life.

Galatians 5:1  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

God wants to take care of your baggage!  

John 10:10  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Abundant life is not a life burdened & buried by baggage! 


1 Peter 5:7cast the cares of this world on him, because He cares for you.

Because Jesus cares Jesus wants to carry.  

Jesus wants to carry, Satan wants to bury.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy

Hebrews 9:12-14 Jesus, by the shedding of His blood on the cross at Calvary entered into the holy presence of God,  and obtained eternal redemption for us by that blood to purge and cleanse our conscience from guilt over dead works, to serve the living God.

1 Timothy 2:6 He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.

1 Peter 2:9 You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

03 You Need To Acknowledge You Have Baggage

Buried burdens, bury us.


04 Let The Bags Go, And Don’t Claim Them Later
