Spiritual Warfare - How To Win The War You're In

1. You’re in a war 

Ephesians 6:10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

2. You have an enemy

People are not your real problem

The real enemy is the devil and his demons.

3. The War Is Multidimensional 

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see what we see in the physical did not come from anything that can be seen.

1 Corinthians 2:14-15 The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

You limit God’s ability to work in your life if you limit your understand to just the natural world

If you want to effect what’s going on in this world, you have to effect it in the spiritual world.

4. The Enemy Fights With Deception

devil = liar, slanderer 

schemes = methods. 

The devil has methods by which He lies.

The devil can’t match you strength to strength

The devil has no power in your life unless you give it to him. 

The devil operates by deception to get consent and cooperation.

1 John 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

#5 Power Up

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

#6 Dress For Success 

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 

Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, 

The key to the armor of God working is, YOU putting it on.

#7 Stand On Your Seat

Stand on what got you seated with Christ. 

You can win the war you’re in, because Jesus won the war you’re in.
