1. The church began with a statement of vision for kids

Acts 2:14 (NLT) Then Peter stepped forward with the eleven other apostles and shouted to the crowd, “Listen carefully, all of you, fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem! Make no mistake about this.

15 These people are not drunk, as some of you are assuming. Nine o’clock in the morning is much too early for that.

16 No, what you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel:

17 ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

18 In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants--men and women alike-- and they will prophesy.

2. Jesus has a vision for kids ministry

Mark 10:13 (NLT) One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.

14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.

1. Jesus touches children.

2. He ministered to the children who were “brought.”

2 aspects of bringers.

1. The church brings them.

2. Parents are the primary bringers.

Let your kids see you serve God.

Ephesians 5:1 (NKJV) Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
