2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.

Peace Doesn’t Require Perfection 

The peace of God is not determined by everything being perfect around you.

Peace = calm and tranquility of soul in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Biblical peace is when there is tranquility on the inside, even when chaos is happening on the outside.

Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

guard (Greek) - a military guard that protects against enemy invasion

The peace of God wants to protect your mind and and your emotions… But it’s not automatic, it’s something we have to choose.

Colossians 3:15 And let he peace of God rule in your hearts, 

Peace Follows A Process

The process began on the day you made Jesus the Lord of your life. 

‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:21-23‬‬ So I discover this principle: When I want to do what is good, evil is with me. For in my inner self  I joyfully agree with God’s law. But I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.”

Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
