A Tale of Two Enochs

The name “Enoch” is referenced in the Bible a total of 13 times; 10 times in the Old Testament and only 3 times in the New Testament. We will be dealing with the references in the Old Testament and those in the book of Genesis.

You have heard of the Hebrew culture? Well the bible is intended to be read from a Hebrew mindset. We have mostly been taught to read & understand it from a “FORM” mindset but I believe we need to read, understand, and study it from a “FUNCTION” mindset.

This message is title a “Tale of Two Enochs” – one is FORM & one is FUNCTION!

If you view or have a FORM mindset you will believe and interact with an entity called the church in a manner unpleasing to the Father.
If you view or have a FUNCTION mindset you will believe and interact with an entity called the church in a manner pleasing to the Father. From a function mindset you will walk in the POWER and not a form of godliness --- thus the ecclesia.

2 Timothy 3:5 -
“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
