Three Kings :: The Painful Fallout of Sin

This week we explore 2 Samuel 13–18 and the heartbreaking ripple effects of unaddressed sin in David’s family. Just like hitting the snooze button delays the inevitable, David continually delays stepping into his role as a father and king—and the consequences are devastating. From Amnon’s violation of Tamar to Absalom’s revenge and eventual rebellion, we see what happens when responsibility is ignored and guilt goes unchecked. David had repented before God, but that didn’t erase the fallout in his household. Our actions—or inaction—teach more than we realize. This message challenges us to stop carrying guilt, step into repentance, and lead boldly, especially as fathers, men, and spiritual leaders. No matter your past, God isn’t done with you.
