New Year is a time for reflecting on the past year and looking to the next. In this message, Paul encourages us to look with the eye of faith, both on what God has done over the past year and towards what He has in store in the future. God's people are New Creation people, who therefore look ahead to the new heaven and new earth, to see what - through faith, prayer and declaring the Word of God - we can draw back from that future reality into the here and now, in order to impact the present.
