Letters of John pt. 7: Faith That Overcomes - Paul Callan - 10/11/24

True faith in Jesus is an overcoming faith. It allows you to say "No" to the world and embrace the eternal life that God has already made available to you, through Jesus. The whole letter of 1 John was written to assure believers of their salvation in Christ, and to correct false teaching, so that the church would have the right view of God - worshiping the true God rather than a false one. We still need this message today.
