A "servant" attitude in the life of Christians, as individuals and as the church together, is of vital importance. In contrast to a "consumer" attitude to church, the servant approach is part of a healthy church culture, because it actually finds its origin in the nature of God, who himself continually loves and serves his creation. A genuinely serving culture is a joy to be a part of, and deeply attractive to those looking on from the outside, who need to see who Jesus really is.
