The ascension of Jesus is central to our Faith, even if it's rarely celebrated. The ascension of Jesus is not the absence of Jesus, but instead, it is the increase and expansion of his rule and reign in the world. We declared that

The loving presence of Jesus is “ascending down” into the depths of our lives, joining us to his loving authority at work in us, through us and all around us.
